Lucy is a freelance violinist, based in South London. Her career combines a busy performance schedule with a successful teaching practice, and work with the Illyria Trio.

Lucy's concerto performances include the Bach Double Violin Concerto, (2nd Violin Solo), with the Cotswold Chamber Orchestra. And Mozart Violin Concerto D Major with St Bartholomew's Orchestra.

Lucy is a keen chamber musician. She plays in the Illyria Piano trio, and the Roslaine Trio- a trio for the unconventional combination of 2 violins and 1 viola.

She has performed recital programmes at the National Portrait Gallery, Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire, Southwark Cathedral, as part of the Dulwich Festival, and the Sydenham Arts Festival; also at Dr Johnson's House; at Middle Temple Hall and Lincolns Inn, among many other venues

Her solo recitals, with Pianist Luca Verdicchio include performances at All Hallows By The Tower, London (2004); St Edmund Hall, Oxford (2003); The Priory of Our Lady, Burford, Oxfordshire (2002); Potenza Picena, Italy (2002, 2003, 2004); Old Prebendal Court, Oxfordshire (2002, 2001, 2002); St Barnabus Church, Dulwich Village (2002).

As an orchestral player Lucy is leader of the All Saints Chamber Orchestra as well as guest leader for many chamber orchestras around London.

Lucy works regularly with the All Saint's Orchestra, Amersham Festival Orchestra, Bampton Classical Opera, Bernardi Music Group, Chameleon Arts Orchestra, Dionysus Ensemble, English Symphony Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, Milton Keynes City Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, St Endellion Festival Orchestras, Swansea City Opera, Thames Chamber Orchestra

Lucy has undertaken BBC session work for The Everglades, a BBC comedy, music written by Jane Watkins. Lucy also worked with Jane, recording music for comedian Isy Suttie, and for E4's Beehive. Lucy was also seen leading the quartet for Alesha Dixon on HMS Belfast for the BBC New Year celebrations 2008

Theatre work includes Can't Stand Up for Falling Down (Also broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland) and Oleana, both for theatre informer, Natural Inclinations at the Finborough Theatre and Midsummer Night's Dream for Spontaneous Productions.
